where do u keep wax?

i like to re-apply wax after surfing an hr or so, but so far has been going back to surfshop (where i rent the board). For those who have ur own board, where do u keep ur wax? it will sure melt if u keep it in the car, rite :?:

If you need to re-apply your wax after an hour... you're doing it wrong.
If you really need more grip after an hour in the water, use a wax-comb, not fresh wax.

And a cupholder full of melted wax is the sign of a real surfer
