Help do I need a winter and summer wetsuit ?

Hi everyone I live in Cornwall and I am new to surfing,Ive just aquired a 7' 10" NSP mini mal to get myself started but buying a wetsuit is getting very confusing, do I need a summer wetsuit for summer and a winter wetsuit for winter or can I get away with just buying a winter wetsuit for all year round ?

You'll definitely need 2 wetsuits for surfing cornwall. 3mm for summer and 5mm (+boots/gloves/hood/thermal rashie) for winter.
A winter wetsuit will be much much too warm in summer.

Well, to look on the bright side at least your water warms up in the summer.

Thanks for your help, think I will have to stick to using a winter wetsuit for this year as theyre not cheap
