surf trip January

Hey I am trying to organise a 5week surfing trip in January to somewhere with great waves and good weather and not overly expensive! Was thinking Indonesia(maybe too wet?) costa rica, ecuador or mexico. can you help me out cheers

how about south america, it will be summer then, might be rainy season in some parts, where i am , it will be summer, i can assure surf everyday and everything is pretty cheap

Srilanka. Bali is not the best time of the year, but it is for Srilanka. That's for sure not expensive and you can ride with giant turtles, don't miss it.
