Surfed Porthcawl again lol. It was very messy with 5 second waves! I had an hour out there and got beat up by my board! not ideal conditions for a beginner like myself...

Surfed porthcawl today and fckin loved it!!!! 3ft 13 second, clean waves which was just right for a beginner like myself..
I surfed really good today! well, good for me but sh!t to you more advanced surfers ha ha. Im now starting to see some good progress in myself.

The Mentawaiis have been nice September October some places definitely out of my league double overhead Rifles and Bank Vaults, but there was a good selection of other waves that didn't have eight boats on it.
Saw good surfers for Germany Austria Canary Island and Basque country + Aussies and yanks.
Now the photos, me doing my stuff first two, same wave different angles ( and I thought only pros got these)

Finally a swell sneaks in after 3 months of flatrosities I even got out before the Christmas holiday crowd woke up.

Swell could stay for several days and has been working the other beaches along with the Aussie salmon shoals and the munching sharks thereupon.. But not here

Today I surfed for the first time this year, with my bro 'zandvoortsurfertje' in Zandvoort, the Netherlands (of course

) The water was freezing cold, 6°C, (of course we wore enough neoprene to keep us warm. Something which helped as well were 2 'internal heating things' (http://www.surfing-waves.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=16819&p=143901&hilit=internal+heating#p143901)) but the waves were excellent, though it was quite difficult for us to get used to the waves again. (BTW, my bro added some info below as well XD)

I had a horrible surf yesterday. Super rippy, inconsistent, shifting banks and i got hit in the face by my board :\

The most disappointing thing is that the surf reports claimed yesterday and today were meant to be awesome. I possibly just didn't venture enough :\

Just an awesome way to start the day before work, ok conditions werent epic, but a nice and glassy 2-3ft at cocoa beach this morning with a pod of dolphins playing within arms reach of my board, sun was shining, water was warm and had some fun waves to share with only a few others and the dolphins and pelicans....to be honest, i didnt actually care that the waves werent top notch.

The water was warm enough for some to go out in wetsuits and some in bikini and the whale watching boat headed out to sea. Wasn't a bad day
