got a 9'2 south point prob will be selling in a few months to buy a proper glassed longboard maybe a nose rider for those small summer days

will be ordering a 6'4 bunty twin keel fin fish early next month

The hi-top of my van currently contains...

7'6 Bic mini-mal (used by girlfriend, or me when its really small an gutless)
7'4 Mac from Tunnel Vision, double-ender/funboard (excellent board, works in all conditions)
6'10 Mac shortboard.

...Would quite like a 6' fish to go with them...

jonny im jelious mate that board looks soooo nice how about giving me a nice big discount on one for being such a loyal customer :lol:

k mac the boards ok great to learn on, there pretty much bulit proof so if you want a board to learn on thats gonna last years then there worth geting, but i want to get a more traditonal longboard that i can do drop knee turns and hang 5 a little easyer

The "fish" design was accidentially designed by a California by the name of Skip Fry, He was making a kneeboard one day and his test-rider discovered when completed he could actually stand on it. This was in a time of 7 foot long shortboards...the original one was (I believe) 5'10" long, they are twin-fin design with large traditionally wooden fins that face straight ahead...as opposed to the "hybrid" fish which is a combination of old fish shape with modern fin systems.

In essence; a fish is short, wide and thick with a very broad nose and a big swallow tail.

The fish reply was me, thanks Broosta. Actually, real fish aren't that good to ride, I'm lucky enough to have one I bought years ago before they became cool again (and expensive). My Girlfriend at the time thought it looked "cute" and suggested I buy it...who was I to argue :-)... They go real fast in a straight line & gentle carving kinda turns...like pumping a longish skateboard along, but nope...there is a reason why board design moved on. I much prefer a hybrid fish.

heres mine, its a 6'3" x 18 3/4" x 2 1/2" stuart, but I dont know what type tail it is.

is it a fish or a swallow?

That, young man, is a swallow tail shortboard.
A fish (strictly speaking) has a distance of about 6 inches from the center stringer out to each tip of the swallow tail. So the old experts say on Swaylocks.
