HELP...Surf spots needed close to Largs/Scotland!!!

Anyone please HELP !!!!! I have recently moved to Largs on the West of Scotland and need to find those little spots near by....I know about Machrihanish and Coldingham(on the East Coast) but there must be some places maybe futher down the west coast near Ayr or Troon etc.. Maybe even futher down!!!! Can't always afford to travel 3 1/2 hours to get to Kintyre so any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!!! Stay safe......not so stoked Mick.

Sorry Mick. I grew up in Ayr and didn't know that surfing in the UK was even possible until my late teens!
The problem is that you have Arran, Mull of Kintyre and that great bloody rock Ireland in the way.
Very good windsurfing and Kite surfing all along that coast though!

I watched a power boat race in Largs once, that was fun.

No worries mate.....just thought I would try...Oh Well theres always morris dancing...ok maybe not !!! Suppose it wiill have to be early morning starts to Kintyre and Coldingham then...cheers Mick

Haha! Head down Largs High Street and see how long you last Morris Dancing!! That would be a proper extreme sport!!
