MALEDIVES Surfing (longboarding)- where to go?

Hi,

plan to go to the maledives this september. Won't do a boatstrip, because I travel with my wife.
Has anyone experienece about the wavesituation around september at the maledives?
Looking for some long, relaxe 3-4 feet longboardwaves (righthander prefered).
Mybe you can help me, finding some nice resort with the focus on surfing.
