Anyone surfed something with a similar shape??

I am curious about this shape and wanted to see if anyone had any opinions, thoughts or experience with a board like this. I am thinking about trying to shape something like this:

When I was a teenager my bud had a kneeboard about the same shape, surfed super slidy, like a boogieboard, totally fun.

Anyone surfed something with a similar shape??
