board for baltic sea ( poland ) large surfer

Hi All.
In my country i have no one to talk to about, so sorry for another "what board for ... " but i have no option.
I'm Quite new to surfing ( two days of waves ). My weight is 195 lbs and i'm 5,9 foot tall. Waves in baltic sea are really small so what board do you advice :
bic magnum 8'4" or
HiFly 7'10" or
bic natural surf 2 7'9" or eventually
NSP fun board 7'6"

i would prefere first two boards, i was trying to surf on hifly 7'10" but i had a feeling that i was too heavy
this will be two weeks holidays on a board one time in a year.

Really thanks for your help, i really don't want loose money and holidays for an inapriopriate board.

no worries, IM thinking of exploring some of the lesser know waves in europe some time, good to know that people are out in Poland surfing.

judging by the weather reports a quick google search yielded I would say.. if possible , go a bit bigger.

the 8.4 would be ok... youwould manage. but if you are a larger surfer you are going to need plenty of float to begin with, add if you add this fact to small crumbly waves and I imagine you would do better with a 9.4 ish board

someone ( polish board seller )told me that our waves are short and too long board will put the nose in the water and stop. Is it true that too long board will not fit to wave curve ? somehow i do not want to believe it - but what do i know...

I know almost nothing about Poland, and even less about the Baltic sea (Ive only just learnt, for instance, that its surfable).
But I guess that the waves that you get will be small, short period, weak wind-chop?
Longboards arent so great for those conditions, and shortboards wont be much fun either. For those kinds of waves, I'd say you'd need something like a funboard. So the 7'6 NSP might be a good choice.

The downside is that a 7'6 on a weak wave will be quite hard to learn on - you'll have to really put the effort in.

I have been surfing with 8.4 BIC . It is ok, but I later got a 9.4 feet. It is true that pearling is sometimes a problem.

i wanted 7"10 that i swimmed but i didn't know if i'm not too heavy for it ( slower speed than my much lighter colleagues)

Yes Pearling is the same of digging the nose into the water in front of the wave.
Try different places along the coast. On a windy day a headland can protect you against the wind, but still leave the waves coming in.

I think you need a 9 foot longboard. I do not agree with the information from the board seller that said a board that is too long will pearl (dig in and stop). If you really do weigh 88kg (195 pounds), then you need a 9ft or longer board. Longboards like this have a lot of flotation which is the most important thing for a beginner. It is also necessary due to your weight and the small waves you have in the Baltic.

I weigh 70kg (155 pounds) and am a beginner with about 2 years of experience. I use a 9ft longboard.

You do not need to apologize about your use of English. It is OK.

I spent a whole month in Poland and quite a bit of time on ship in the Baltic sea, even when there were hefty storms there wasn't much swell so can imagine its pretty small and inconsistent
