Just wonderin, what do you pack in your bags before surfing

Just got the question and was curious what fellow surfers pack .If you could please put this in bullet from.

what i pack, I surf everyday so my panel van is rigged up and most of this stuff is in there permanently

- Wax
- Two boards (6'3 and 6'6, sometimes a fish for goofing around)
- Extra set of fins
- Fin Key
- Spare leash (had one snap on me before)
- Flask coffee and a large bottle of water
- Wetsuit
- Towel
- Sun tan lotion
- Diving knife (that always gets strapped to the back of my upper left arm, it small so nobody notices it, I got bumped by a 2.5m great white just over a year ago and the fear has stuck with me, even when i surf comps i wear it)

What i pack also depends on the time I plan on surfing the spot and the location, sometimes we go for days and others for a couple of hours!

-duct tape(for when my board dings and i'm too lazy to sun cure it)
-sunscreen
-2 wax sticks
-water bottle
-towel
-10 bucks
-change of a tee
-extra rash guard

in my backpack:

-2 nalgenes of water
-bar of wax
-wax comb
-extra fins
-granola bars or some sort of snack
-desitin
-skrilla

For energy on longer sessions I like to bring along dried figs or apricots, an orange or mandarine, and a bottle of water.

But most of the time I just leave the house with the wetsuit, board and leash and run down to the beach :woot:

me my wetsuit and board strolling down to the beach. If i drive somewhere well then sum smokes a few bucks, wax and a bottle of water to wash my feet after.

I put my boardies on, put one board under my arm and ride a bmx bike a couple of hundred yards down the road, throw the pushie in the bushes and head out for a surf... Takes me about 6 minutes to be in the water.
Sometimes ill wax my board before i leave....

its not as bad as most people think but they are present and when surfing in cape town there is always a shark not more than a couple hundred yards away! but hey, we are visitors in their space, respect them an try not to look like a seal and all's good!

When I had my van it nearly always contained :-

6'2" Square tail thruster
9'0" Big Wave pin tail gun
9'6" Classic Long board
6'8" Pin tail thruster (mates')
6'5" Lightweight thruster (mates')
Wax
Glue
Needle and thread
Leashes
Wetsuits
Flask of hot water (winter) water (summer) for rinsing head and body after a surf
Sun cream
Zinc cream
Sunglasses
Tee shirts, jumpers baggies
Frisbee
Emergency Money
Food
Cooker
Survival matches (work underwater !)
Reflective Survival Blankets
Towels galore
Waterproof bags / buckets for wetsuits and booties and stuff
Bars of soap
Bum Paper for a good dump and a softer than softer wipe (in case the beach / garage toilets were out of toilet paper)

aww - just loads of stuff for a good weekend of surfing and beach fun !

Well somtimes i carry
- my go to board 6'2 squash sometimes a rounded tail 6'1
- Ipod (to get hyped up >.<)
- wax (maybe a bar...or a piece of a bar

)
- maybe a rashguard, sometimes wetsuit top
- towel

But usually i just grab a board and some boardshorts with towel + some wax and roll lol
