hey i want to start shaping boards what kind of tools/materials do i need thanks

surform, sanding block and sand paper... thats all you really need... everything else just makes it go faster, but thats kinda the only 'tools'. You could probally just do it with a sanding block but thats gunna take longer....

of course you still need a template, know what your doing, a pencil to trace the template, handsaw, glassing materials... but you only said shaping.

First board, crap. Second board, best thing in the world.

check out www.swaylocks.com pretty much every thing you ever want to know about shaping on there plus theres quite a few top shappers that post on the forums there
