Thanks, this one is still a virgin unridden board, I have ridden boards of the same design though and they are like rockets, the acceleration on takeoff is incredible. They are also really cruisy and can lope along on small and/or unbroken swells. Very easy to turn too as long as one is into longer lines.

This one has an amazing flex to it, when I put it deck down on the floor it just undulates for a couple of seconds, that's how sensitive it is to movement ! .

have you ever actually surfed these boards at makaha? makaha is the best wave around, in my opinion

Thanks very much for the board compliment.

I have ridden boards of this design in various lengths from 9'1" through to 14'9" in all sorts of waves but not Makaha. I think it would do very well at the Makaha bowl especially on a big day.

Anyway the board in the picture is going to be ridden tomorrow here in New Zealand and again next week, we have a cyclone swell coming in, hopefully it will be double overhead and offshore next Monday.

We do have a board on Oahu at present which is available to be ridden, it's a 13 foot 'Future Primitive' singlefin, a very nice cruisy board.

Thanks oldgrom, she surfs well, I've only had really small marginal conditions so far but we cleaned up ! With lift on the tunnel fin ( which makes the tunnel like a turbocharger which only turns on at a certain number of revs) and relatively low buoyancy the board is really meant to light up when the surf has more grunt, but even though we didn't get out of first gear she felt great, very smooth !

Got a couple of small waves on vido but Emma had a lot of trouble filming this time due to Andrew and Robin who are pint sized and kept her fully occupied.. . . hence the best ones were missed, as Murphy demands.

HA HA HA yea lil ones allways take presidence and some of my best surfin pics are of my kiddo's playin on the sand ,, go figure.I can imagine it would surf like a gun/mini gun or at least want gun like conditions to realy take off and utilize that fin foil. You are kiding right?? Low buoyancy what the @#$$# ??? How is the drag on that fin?
