The Yorkshire tea suggestion made me giggle......it's true though you get a good cuppa out of it
In the Uk we call strong tea "builders tea" that's the way proper blokes like their tea...apparently!
However I dont take sugar........i'm sweet enough!
In Australia we boil it in a billy, a tin , no lid, with a handle on an open fire. Bring to boil furiously add a good measure of tea black and dry soak momentarily then swing billy three times around and over your head, drives the tea leaves to the bottom.
Pour into your enamel camp mug and drink.... if you are not strong enough to drink it black, squeeze an appropriate amount of sweetened condensed milk into your cup and stir. Usually this is the camping option in the outback surf spots as there is no refrigeration and off milk is not an option.
For a little extra favour add one gum leaf. Instead of scones try damper and cockies joy ( golden syrup).
