Have you ever been to Cancun. Maybe the 2 weeks I was there the surf was just crap, I think I would just stick to checking out temples and snorkling.

there are only three good beaches in cancun for surfing chocmool, behind coco bongo, this beach is really good when its big and the wind is out of the north , offshore , playa marlin, where i live its always longboard fun there, and playa delfines . IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR WORLD CLASS SURF , i would say go to hawaii, or indo, tahiti, etc but if your in cancun and you want to surf, there are waves here. timing is everything. sorry your timing was off .
