DAmn thats a pretty nice catch. Im still learning so i dont even try throughing myself down that good spot in huntington yet. I usually just go a little before h.b and a little after bolsa chica...on goldenwest (others know it by dog beach), the surf there is pretty good and not crowded.

Really? It's the sharpness that impresses me.

Ah the pictures themselves are sharp enough but BDW has (rightly so) added 'sharpening' to them which adds definition between transitions (like small black outlines).

I think these have a touch too much on, especialy on the spray, possibly do better knocking the overall amount back some with a little extra selective sharpening in areas if needed.

To me the sharpening has not reached the point where it is blocky or unnatural looking so I wouldn't worry. Personally.

BDW didn't know you were on POTN too.

Man I read that and as I scrolled up to view the pictures again I was thinking "damn it RJD have you ruined these photos for me!?!"
Luckily I agree with tomcat on this. I don't think it is obvious.

No not obvious, and it doesnt ruin the pics at all. Just be worth reigning it back a touch I think.

all down to personal prefs though.

RJD,,,,I will have to agree with you on this one,,,As I did them I looked quickly and was borderline on it, but I was in a big hurry, so I just just sharpened away and and left it....If these shots were going to a magazine I would spend much more time on them,,,Thanks for the feedback though everybody! :D
