should i put a traction pad on it or not

i have just brought this new board http://www.webbersurfboards.com/ the performance shortboard



im not sure if it needs a traction pad or if there just useless on this board so can you please help

ya.... if u like giving the surf companies 40 bucksfor nothing.... the guy that does the craziest shi* ozzy wright never uses tail pads in any of the videos..... ITS A WASTE OF MONEY AND EVERYONE THAT SAID YES JUST GAVE THE BILLION DOLLAR SURF INDUSTERY MORE MONEY FOR NOTHING

My pads have lasted the life of the board ( many years ) and were probably cheaper than the cost of wax for it over the same period.

Also the pads protect the board too reducing the risk of impact delamination in the water and while being loaded onto or into the car etc… – sooo I would reckon yes, use pads, but it’s up to you really !
