School Me on Future Fins Sizes

School Me on Future Fins Sizes

Postby the.ronin » Sun Jun 08, 2008 8:22 pm

These things come in different sizes right? So if I've got a CI MX 6'2, where can I find out what size that is?

I'm kinda missing the days when there was basically one size fins for thrusters.

Thanks ... it's kinda mind boggling all the sizes.

Is it just me or are these things a real pain to remove?

The fin size is written on the base bit of the fins.

And they shouldnt be too tricky to come out. Unscrew the screw, and then pivot the fin out the end (its held in at the opposite end from the screw so pivot around that end).

Not toooo tricky

Nah not tricky at all ... just seems mine are stuck in there real good - yes, even with the screw out haha.

Ok guys seriously these are starting to piss me off. I can’t get my Freegin Fins out. I don’t want to yank too hard for fear of putting a pressure ding on the board. When I first placed them in, I put wax along the base like the instructions. I’m wondering now if that was the right thing to do. Yes, they are the right sized fins.

Are you guys just sliding the fins in and out with ease?
