only like 3 hours left....I am the first bidder in 7 days...so I hope so. Its still real cheap for a new board...that is why I was a little hesitant...

So I wont the auction....It comes to like $350cdn shipped.....I am going to get it shipped to a city just over the border, then I will just go for a little day trip to pick it up. No duties....or taxes that way.

Its an epoxy, so meh..I will get over it. So in the matter of a month I went from no surfboards, to a 7'4 and a 6'10. So not so slowly expanding my quiver...Now I think this will last me for a while...eventually I think that the whole long board thing will get to me and I will pick one up..I want one for the small days around here.

Hey Batman,

I noticed that you bought one of these Millenial Surfboards earlier this year. How do you like it? I've been watching one of these boards on Ebay and they seem like a steal. What is your opinion of this 7'4" "shortboard"? I'd be learning on this board because the last time I went surfing was about 10 years ago. I'm about 6'3" and 185lbs. Any input is appreciated!

How's the Millenial shortboards working for you? I bought one of the 8'6" mini-mals. I'm going to go pick it up tomorrow from customs hopefully get to ride it later this month.

I heard the Centenial boards are a little shorter than the Millennial boards.

I had bought a 6'3 shortboard and a 7'2 funboard from the same people
on ebay

I thought it was a great steal and the designs were awesome... however later i found out, I didn't really get my money's worth when i took it out to the waves. Before that, I took it to a reliable surf shop and they told me it wasn't what most epoxy boards are made of... or made in the same way. Epoxy is supposed to be really strong, light and more bouyant. My board dinged really easily, being an epoxy... it's supposed to be nearly indestructable or indingable lol. As for the surf itself, the board handled pretty decent, it didn't float that well. Also.. the board was a lot heavier compared to other epoxy boards... the guy at the surf shop took some epoxy's out and let me compare um... pretty big difference. And what's probably the worst about these boards is that most surf shops will refuse to repair your dings. I was going to get mine repaired but the surf shop had no idea which material to use to repair it. He said it wasn't fiberglass for sure... and it wasnt the usual epoxy... he said it was more like plastic... and that no one would want to repair it. So if you guys already have the millennial boards... i guess u can rub some wax into your dings... thats jsut about all you can do.

Another part i was skeptical about is that they're hand shaped... hand shaped for only around $300... that's too good to be true. When i got the boards, it came with a sticker that said... Made in China... so my guess is that it's a pop-out board... :/

So it's all up to you guys... imo... i think it's better to go to a surf shop and spend the extra money for the quality and reliability of a surfboard... because these are pretty expensive and you would want to invest in something that's really worth it. I learned my lesson... online deals are always too good to be true.

about 2 weeks ago i bought a millenial board n its so far been great

it hasnt been marked up...so far but i have to agree with scx....it a little heavier than most epoxy boards

These boards Rock!!!! The shortboards don't have a gloss coat finish so it can feel different than other epoxy boards but it is an epoxy board and easily repaired with nomal epoxy resin.

If you look at discountwatersports feedback on eBay it is flawless with over 3,000 comments. That alone shows me what people think of them. They also have great customer service!

These guys have the best boards at the best prices. If you look at there feedback on eBay you will see they have over 3,000 comments without any negative or even a single neutral comment. These are high quality boards at the best prices.

Hmm.. timmy777, new member, 3 posts, all in a row keeping this topic up and posting how awesome the board brand is just after some negative press.

Methinks he's probably the guy who sells them on eBay.

High quality boards? Maybe for someone who doesn't know anything about surfing or proper boards and wants to be 'cool' and in fashion at a cheap price.
