Yesterday's session in large (for me) surf was cut short by a sick wipeout that managed to put a double crease in my board just below halfway.
Desperate to make the most of today's surf, before it drops again, I made temporary repairs using a suncure type product.
I cut the creases out (because they had inverted) and found no damage,to the foam, to my surprise.
So with two sections of glass cut out, about 1cm wide (1 inch at one point close to rail) and running from rail to stringer I am unsure how to repair it.
The temporary fix has held well and looks OK, but already a crack has started to appear and I knew it would only be temporary when I did it.
So I intend to cut the suncure back out and start a fresh. I can't afford to have it done by a pro, so anyone got any advice on how to approach this one. Sorry no photos available at this time.
