This board?

I'm still on the hunt for a decent first surfboard, I would love a longboard but don't think it's going to easy to get a good one for a cheapish price, plus I need roofbars etc, so think I will save up for one as my second board.

There is one of these Tiki Superfly fish going second hand not too far from me, for about £130, what do you think as a first board? I'm 5'2, 10 stone.

dimensions are 6'6 x 21" x 2 3/4", sound good?

could be ok, don't know much about fish apart from they're loose to surf but the dimensions are pretty big. hopefully someone else will give you a hand as i don't know too much

Thanks, they are supposed to be quite buoyant I believe? And good for smaller waves, as far as I know, so sounded quite suitable.

yea should be buoyant and easy ish to catch waves just not sure about standing up..although you are pretty small so could be ok like

There is also an opportunity to get one of these quite cheaply, but don't know if I want an NSP, what are they like?

In all honesty though, my carpet is a big fluffy pussycat of a board (to quote Mr Drowningbitbybit!) and real easy to paddle/get into waves ect. It can be surfed pretty aggressively for its plan if you work hard enough.
