Can I store my boards outside?

Can I store my boards outside?

Postby JupiterSurfer » Tue Mar 11, 2008 1:26 pm

I just got an Epoxy board and was wondering if I can store it outside. I have been told the sun won't yellow or damage epoxy boards. Is this true?

I wouldn't recomend it no matter what your boards are made out of

If you're gonna put it outside, make sure you have shades around it. because any surfboard material regardless of what it is, will get affected by the UV light or the heat from the sun.

i don't know how the sun effects the board if its epoxy, but make sure the wind doesn't blow it around the garden etc because its bound to break

I wouldn't reccomend it, unless you have no space indoos keep it inside, if you don't have space, then put it in a really good boardbag and make sure it is safe from winds, rain, hail, ect.

hmmm.....

I've wondered myself if it'd be alright provided it's in a bag, but I settled for the garage in the end.
