Hello , Going to Rio for the first time next January. I have always thought about taking surf lessons. Any ideas on how I can locate a school or person in Rio to contact before I get there to set something up ?

Best bet would be to locate the surf shops in that area. Ask them. Then, second, call the hotels in the area, most have a concierge that can help you.
