what to wear under wetsuit?

I'm a beginner surfer and am going on crash coarse on holiday in Portugal next week so i'll be hiring a wet suit, but what do u wear under them? bikini, tankini, etc? and whats all this i hear about rash vests? :? do i really need one or do u think the surf place will give me one?

wear some kind of swimsuit, wheteher it is a bikini tankini or general swimsuit does not matter. rash vests are to stop you getting a rash from wax or wetsuit, you prolly dont [/i]need one as wetsuits are more soft and the suchlike so it shouldnt give you a rash. the surf place might give you one but youre ok without one really.

when you take off your wetsuit, make sure your swimsit is all lined up first, particularly if youre taking it off in public. ahem, not that ve ever done that!

I go for nothing just good old flesh (man i don't want to think of that rash),or if its cold maybe a pair of y fronts. haha
