hi there i need some quick adviceeee...

i found a board :

7'2'' x 20 1/4'' x 2 3/8'' - Gulf Stream

and another boardshaped by Chris Jones, 6'8" x 19.5" x 2.5"

is there going to be much difference between them ...their floatability etc??

the thing is one is much cheaper than the other ie the chris jones one
but the gulf stream one seems beta for beginner

Go for the Gulf Stream Chrissy. Having said that - as a beginner I'd go for somethign a little bigger to be honet - 7'8" or so.

Out of the two you have found, the GS sounds the wiser choice though.

yeah 7.2 will be the safest bet mate even though you are quiet small, suppose you could get the 6.8 depends what the surf is like where you will use it most, but your definitly learn quicker on the 7.2, the 6.8 you will take longer to master :)
