rips/holes in wetsuits

rips/holes in wetsuits

Postby andymac » Mon Dec 06, 2004 2:00 am

I have a 5/4/3 winter wetsuit. There is a small rip in the hood. The rip in the hood dosn't go all the way through the suit, but it does cause some problems in the water.

Does anyone know how to fix it? I was thinking of glueing it. Is there some kind of glue to glue it together?

Thanks.

Wetsuit repair

Postby phaseonesurf » Wed Dec 08, 2004 12:56 am

there are 2 products I am aware of:

1) Aquaseal

2) Wetsuit cement

The items and the descriptions can be found here:

Do not use superglue and if you decide to sew, dental floss works best.
