New surfer pop up and stance?

New surfer pop up and stance?

Postby DogDays2 » Thu Dec 08, 2011 2:25 am

I have a 6'5 wrv. There is a traction pad on the back and in front of it their is a k made of the same material. Does my back foot go in the middle of the bigger piece and how far apart should my feet be? How do you quickly pop up? Every time I try to stand I get up slowly and go to my knees first. I also hit the back of the board with my foot sometimes when I try to stand. What is the best way to pop up? thank you

Except for the people who'll tell you that unless your a young 'un, if you don't know where to put your feet, then that board is probably a fair bit too small for you.
