epoxy for beginner?

Postby justice » Sun Sep 25, 2011 11:48 pm

I am surfing on a 7-9 bic. I really had a great session today! I am catching every foam wave. I even started to actually catch small waves before they broke! Should I just stay with my board? I was considering a heritage foam board. Would It be easier to learn to catch a wave on a foam board or should I just keep practicing on my bic? What about an epoxy board what are they all about? Are they good for beginners?
Thanks

You've got an epoxy board... and they're perfect for beginners.
Forget about foam boards, they're just for your very first day out, after which you need a board suitable for learning, like the one you've got. And if it aint broke, dont fix it - just keep on doing what you're doing. 8)

You're catching unbroken waves already, so I agree with dbbb - just keep on doing what you're doing!
