Surfing etiquette

Postby Kylie22 » Sat Jun 05, 2010 12:43 am

Hi

I am a little confused to the surfing etiquette of who has the right of wave. Is it the first person who gets up on the board or the person left of them?

I hate to piss someone off whilst practising.

Thanks guys

Hey there.

I feel so bummed out that its been like 3 months since I felt the love for surfing and havent been tot he coast since. I was planning this weekend but my funds are low to go to Byron Bay and hire a board and wet suit. I do remember the skils taught to me but I hope I can get out there soon to practise turns and maybe venture into bigger waves too. I cant wait to jump back in there and feel that awesome addiction again :D
