Im Tom, 17, currently living in Milton Keynes (miles away from any waves ). I skateboard and snowboard, but went to Hawaii over the summer and pretty much spent the whole week surfing. Fair to say I got hooked, so when looking at what uni to apply to this year, bournemouth is my favorite choice. So Im hoping to get in so I can be surfing again by september. Fingers crossed aye

Take it you mean applying this year for a course starting next September (2010)?

Hi everyone, 47 years young (age is just a number in your head) Live in Derbyshire, UK which is 110 miles from any decent swell! hence the name....

Still a "novice" but improving everytime, which is great. Riding a NSP 7'6" Mal at the moment - I was told it was a good board to start on.

Now looking at reasons for being within striking distance of any decent swell whilst out and about "working". Defintely been bitten by the bug......

My 12 year old son got me into surfing after he we had a couple of lessons two years ago, we previously messed around with bodyboards. Our favourite break is Gwithian

hello..im a girl from west wales - pembrokeshire to be exact. i love surfing but waste too much petrol! going to study surf science at newquay in september..should be good! anyone from wales? seen a few from different posts.
