which is better high tide or low tide?

Hey guys i just wanted to know which tide is the best to ride... i've been surfing for a couple of motnhs now n im still a beginner.. help me out ya, which tide is best for bolsa chica beach?

well i dont know about bolsa chica beach but ideally you want to get the tidal push so you want to go in about 1 - 2 hours from lowtide.

It depends on the break. Some places work better high tide, some low. Check it out at both times to see when it works best.

during low tide sometimes ill get scranched up, my board will get dinged and ill get stranded on rocks.

low tide kiks nuthin beats pullin into a solid 6 footer dredging like a mofo and being spat out, surf hard!!!!!!!
