Pre-hurricane surfing.

I live in Athens Ga where there is no surf and Flordia's east coast isn't that good much of the year, but last year I went and stayed in Flordia for two different hurricanes in two weeks and up until the day of the hurricane, the waves were 7-10 foot buets and they had nice form. The day of the storms they were massive, but choppy and unridable. I think the storms were Fances and Charley. The storms pelted the hotel we stayed in, but man the nine days of surfing we did get in were the best since I left Oahu.
