Accomodation in Figueira da Foz or close

Hey,

I'm probably going to be lucky enough to get a couple of weeks off in summer and I was thinking of going to Foz. Just wondering if anyone knows of any good (but cheap) accomodation in walking distance of a least one or two decent breaks in the area?

I don't really want to hire a car but will if I need to. I'm also open to suggestions on where to go. I'm from the UK, been surfing for about 6 years, have never surfed abroad and want to go around the end of July. If anyone can recommend anywhere decent I'd really appreciate it.
