Sundance Beach 2012 Surf Film Contest - Excellant!

The 5th annual film contest finals were tonight at the old Lobero Theatre in downtown Santa Barbara. Ten films were shown from the 50 entered. Many vendors (O’Neill, RVCA, Volcom, Electric, Spy, Reef, Hurley, Quiksilver, and Billabong) had booths, games, and lots of freebies on the lawn before the theatre doors opened. Periodically through the program, the MCs would throw lots of cool swag out into the audience. The 10 films were excellant and the vibe was positive. Many notable regional surfers attended and we reconnected with a lot of surfing friends and their families. It was a really good time and it was free!
