Surf sport researchhhh help please!

Hello, I am trying to find a good surf spot on the east coast, the US, mainly mid eastcoast like NC to delaware, that would be the best bet for this weekend. I am looking for my boyfriend. I have found one place that looks promising for good surf, but Im not really sure how to determine what a good forecast is or not... I don't surf, but I go on trips with him when he does.
I found one place thats in lewes Delaware the surf spot is under the name Naval Jetties.. Any ideas on prime saturday spot for really fun waves? He doesnt care if they are huge, just glassy and fun, usually is what he says.. ?? any help would be awesome, I love when my boyfriend gets to surf and when he gets good surf he's always so happy when he does. Thanks for any help at all
