Cold water gear

Hi-
I am a new New England surfer and the water is getting chilly! My wetsuit is a 4/3 and I don't plan to update it for the winter, but I am looking for a hood and gloves. I am pretty small- so I need something that will fit me well. An internet search proved pretty overwhelming...lots of options, but I need some feedback. Any suggestions?

Check out Cinnamon Rainbows or Summer Sessions. I got a Billabong Vest/ Hood at Cinnamon Rainbows that I can wear over my wetsuit for about $60. I wear it over a 3/2 wetsuit and have been comfortable in the water on some pretty chilly days. While not as good as a thicker suit w/ a built in hood, it adds another layer of warmth for my core. They've got gloves at both shops also. You'll do better shopping locally where you can see and (more importantly) try on the gear.
