East coast surfers!!

Im from North Carolina, i surf around emerald isle and wrightsvill beach

i wanna hear from some people who are surfing around the east coast and how the waves are treating yea

i know right now we have a freezing water warning and no wet suit can save you lol

Surf the same breaks as you, though, I prefer Holden Beach for hurricane swells. Just returned from Oahu and the thought of paddling out in 42 degree water is not inspiring.

lol yea ilove the hurricane swell, every time i hear hurricane on the news its time to paddle out

I'm from VA Beach, and winter has been crucial this year. It's about time to get one of those heated wetsuits!

Hi,
I'm a beginning surfer and have been working on getting up in Salter Path.The waves are usually pretty choppy and short lived though. Can you recommend a place where the waves are more favorable to a beginner?
