General Seattle Area Surfers

Let's make this a general forum for the general WA/No. OR surfers. So if you surf the peninsula, westport, shortsands, etc. - post here. Introduce yourself - where are you from? what are you riding? What wetsuits are you relying on for the winter months?

I'm out of Federal Way, WA. Usually surf Westport or Short Sands area. I switch between a 6'10" Surftech fish and a 9'0" TDK. And wearing an xcel hooded zip.

I just started surfing this summer and am looking for some people to "mentor" me into handling the 15-20" waves that this fall / winter will bring us.

i'm Al. i frequent westport and on the occassion, the straits. my current quiver consists of a quad fin fish/fun shape, a 9'4 round tail single fin by true soul, and my main log a 10ft pearson arrow dane perlee shape. i'm a longboarder for the most part. but i ride whatever the mood calls for. i love the washington coast, i have good etiquette/respect, been surfing for 12 years, and my influences are: Tom Wegener, Dane Perlee, CJ Nelson, Brain Anderson, The Malloy brothers, Dave Rastovich, and whoever is having fun. up for carpooling, bbqing, and camping. i was hoping to meet some people that share my drive and appreciation for the water. cheers.
