Oh my god...what crap...Any girl could be as good as any lad if they're dedicated enough, brave enough and fit enough. I've been surfing a year and a half and was out recently with 3 lads that have been surfing 5-6years (maybe more) and I was just as good as them and caught more waves than them (don't mean to boast, but it was just a good day for me).

The only reason the men are better in general is because there's such a difference in the ratio. That's the ONLY reason...

how does ratio make any difference? I believe that a girl can be as good or even better the any guy but the way i see it is they arnt as.... "brave" as the men out there on the 15 foot days. Look at mavericks... can girls surf it.. yes.... will they surf it... probably not. In all the tv shows and magazines i have yet to see a girl surf it.[/u]

thanks I'm bad with names just for the record that is a bad b!tch I'd stack her up just about anyone but theres alot of guys that have been at it longer or have a better liniage so they get more opertunity or sponcership
