Sounds like a plan perhaps not worth a specific forum but there's nothing stopping you from creating your own topic about a session eather in the forum or perhaps in the Surf Spots forum.

photos taken of me at croyde, by extremeboardshot

Postby tcp » Thu Sep 16, 2004 7:25 pm

Was surfing the other week at croyde. Im not very good but can trim. Got out the water to find a guy telling me he had some cool shots and to check them out on his site. I did and they were cool. It was a bit strange but I was stocked with the pic so I bought it. They have loads of shots, not just local pro's, everyone!!

Check them out if you want pics

extremeboardshots.com

Pics of all spots around their

The two guiys that run that firm have really hit a gold mine at the moment. They often go out with the lessons and take pictures for the people learning.

It seem that he collerd you good! doesn't cost them anything but a day at the beach taking digi photos then telling people on their way out to look at the website.

Fair play to em.

Damn, I think I may have actually chatted to that guy when I was on holiday at Croyde last month!

I was taking some evening pics and there was a guy shooting digital pics of surfers and we had a bit of a natter about cameras etc.

That reminds me, I've got to get around to scanning the negs of the photos I took...!

yes they got me good

No way, I think they must chat to every one...... They have hundreds of shot so I guess they would have to.

Classic idea, the surf school must be an earner!

Spoke to the guy the other day. The next swell me and few mates are going to get a load of shots done, just for a laugh. Rob said for 5 of us it would be £75 and he would take shots for a full session and put them to CD.

Not a bad deal what do you think?

Maybe, but this was one photographer to another, not as a surfer.

Why? They don't need your permission to take your picture and they can publish it as much as they like provided it's not defamatory.

It's a fairly good price for a couple of hours with a good photographer and a CD of the images.

don't have the skills you do will this chat console..

Yes they do a good job, and they really love what they are doing I think that is why they speak to every one. Not legal reasons as I think you thought I ment.

I think what they offer is real cheap for any photographer, never mind a good one!

I don't mind as long as they don't get any pics of me balling a big set. or of my poo stance chasing a section!

lol
