spots close to vancouver

every weekend my friends and i drive down to westport, pretty much because its the only reasonably close spot we know of. are there any in the area that are cleaner,better...better

I think your best option is to head further south to Oregon. It's a longer drive and will require extra days, but there are a number of good spots. I usually go to Newport and surf Agate Beach and Otter Rock, both a very good.
