Hi

I'm a surfer from DK that is about to combine my passion(surfing) with some studies in scotland. I just wanna know if there is any good waves to come by near St. Andrews, as that is where my studies will take place.

Thanks

Hi,

Studied there for four years, got some good days - doesn't get epic very often had four days or so at east sands in the 4-6ft clean range in four years. Gets big onshore, which is fun. Best to check out reefs at Kingsbarns 6 miles south usually double the size and can get classic on good sized northerly swell with west winds, perfect a frames for a 100 metres or so. Never gets busy.

If you have a car travel north or south as surf is more consistent with se swells going North and Northerly swells if going south.

If you want more info, contact me at surfing@c2cadventure.com
