TRAVEL from east (Drogheda) to west coast! HELP ME!

HI MATES!
I'm italian and i love surfing....I' m addicted and i would like to do it here but i don't have a car and i'm in the wrong place.
I'D LIKE To know somebody and get togheter in any good spot on the island. a bad thing i have to rent everything!!!
I can share patrol and any other costs.
