Margaret River beginner breaks

Hi there,

I live in Perth and I'm just starting to surf. I am getting onto small green waves and starting to go 'along' waves now rather than heading straight to the beach. I'd like to go a bit further afield for a few days. I'm definitely going to get myself to Lancelin at some point, but I've always really enjoyed Margs (even as a non-surfer) cos I'm partial to a drop of red. I am under the impression that Margs is not a really a place for beginners - all the breaks seem to say 'experienced' or 'pro' only, and I am neither! Are there any places in Margs which offer friendly waves and a soft (ish) landing for me to have a go on? Any recommendations?
