Canaries for begine

Hi Everyone,

Just wondering if anybody can offer any advice on surf beaches in the canaries. I'm going to book a week away and not sure which Island would be better for a beginner. Altough I'm not a total beginner I would still want a fairly handy beachbreak..Fuerte seems to have some decent beaches down the coast, would there be better then lanzorote for someone of my level? Thanks a million, any advice hugely appreciated.

Hi BB, I was going to start off with suggesting that you tweet that, but I won't
I met some Spanish Canary gUys in the Mentawaiis they were some of the nicer mannered surfers of any nationality in sharing waves and were pretty competent in the water. Can't help you with the beaches but I would like to hear how you go as Canaries are on my to surf list, when I come to see my son in Europe.
