Surfing Lessons on Máncora, Peru

Hi, this is my first post related to surf so be pacient...
I am going in march to Mancora and i heard it´a great place to learn to surf.
As you might have guessed, I´ve never surfed in my life even thougt my country has a few great spots.
I´ll take lessons once I am there and i was looking for some advice so I don´t get scammed about what to look for (how much should I pay for hour per example).
If anyone knows someone there and can recomend him i´ll be sure to look for it.
Any help or advice?

Mancora is really crowded, it can be a really good wave, you'll find surfboard rental and lessons right on the beach, 50 soles about $18USD for the lesson including equipment
