Miami

So it looks like I will be in Miami at the start of February for a meeting. I am planning to adjust my flights so I get a few days either before or after the meeting to see the sights and if I have time have a go in the water. I'm not sure where I'll be staying, but I guess it will be in Miami Beach area (that's the nice part right?).

So could someone direct me to a good shop that is close to the main breaks where I can hire a board and suit please? Or in case I don't have time to surf a big surf shop where I can spend all my hard earned pennies?
