Canaries Surfing? Lanzorote or Fuerte??

Hey everybody,

Getting itchy feet with the cold weather setting in here in ireland so thinking of a quick cheap get away in the next few weeks.. Thinking of either lanzorote or fuerteventura, can anyone recommend which is better with regard to quality/consistency of waves and crowds and all that? I have been to both before on holiday but not surfing and just wondering would one be better then the other, i would be hoping to get on some nice beach breaks ( Still havent ventured out on the reefs ). Any advice or recommendations hugely appreciated again, Thanks all!
