puerto rico surfing

im going to puerto rico in may for my bro's wedding and i was hoping to catch some waves. if anyone has any suggestions like where good spots are or what shops to go to let me know. we are both beginners so we probably wont be catching any 10' waves

Winter is better, You are going right at the end of the season ie its just finished. If you have transport there is a possibility of waves from various places but its unlikely and if there is a wave it'll be crowded. The best place to head to is Rincon in the far NW of the island, its most likely to pick up swell from the atlantic if there is any.
