It's expensive (around 1200 US dollars round trip) and the super long flight from Canada (20+ hours). Other than that, accommodation, transportation, food, and drinks are cheap. Good weather all year around. You can pick your swells by going to different beaches.
Enjoy!
...In other side, the long way has a some positive arguments. For example, stop over in Singapore or in the Arab Emirates, depends what Air company will you fly.
In 2009 i have a long flight: Novosibirsk (Russia)-Moscow (Russia)-Abu Dhabi (UAE)-Jakarta(Indonesia)- Denpasar (Bali Island). It costs for me 1100 $ return, 18 days in Bali, i spend 200 $ for rent a room:-) very cheap and good expirience.Etihad Airways-the national Airline of the UAE is very comfortable and safe! If i book a tour in russian travel agency, it costs about 3000 $ for a 14 days staying. Some difference and very very uncomfortable charter flyghts with old aircrafts.
Girls. glad to see in Bali in July 2010)
