Surfing Ixtapa

Hey, anyone surfed ixtapa? I am going ther for 2 weeks at xmas with the "out" laws and dont wanna spend any time with them or at the resort.
I'm willing to travel
Should i rent or bring one. Airline charges about $150-$200 each way
I emailed these guys, Catcha L'Ola but got no reply.
